Wild Bill’s Electronics was opened in 1988 on Mill Street in Boaz and moved to US Hwy 431 one year later. Bill McDowell has been involved in the electronics industry more than 30 years and has been Retailer of the Year Best Single Store Operations in the nation for three years.

Bill helped start an electronics organization MERA, which has grown into the largest organization for electronics specialists.  He has served on that board of directors for eight years.  Bill is the Co Chair for certification MECP and Chairperson for Education. 

Bill is the current President of the Community Civitans, a Rotary Club member, serves on the Relay For Life committee for Marshall County and he has helped with the Boaz Middle School Auction for ten years.  Bill is very active in his community and sees a great need to grow the area. 

Bill has been married to Margaret for 34 years and they, together work in Wild Bill’s Electronics six days a week.
