In the year 2000, Linda & Richard Polk and Johnna & Stanley Morris revived an old, historic building in the downtown area of Boaz and established The Station House Grille.

The restaurant is housed in the building erected in 1946.  The building was first used as a cotton warehouse built within 100 yards of the town’s railroad depot.  Some 20 years later, the building was remodeled to house a lumber and building supply company, which was Young Supply, Inc.  For 25 years the business sold goods and services to the city of Boaz.  The services and supplies, which were used from this business helped mold the city of Boaz into the beautiful, vibrant city it is today.

With the legacy of this old building and an excellent staff of employees, The Station House Grille has been in business for 5 years with a plan to help revive the downtown area of Boaz.  Their goal is to provide the best food on Sand Mountain.  The motto of the restaurant has always been to provide the finest food possible with the freshest ingredients available.

The Station House Grille menu is very diverse offering steaks, ribs, seafood, chicken, pork chops, a variety of Italian dishes, sandwiches, specialty salads and a children’s menu.  A daily lunch special is offered as well as three nightly dinner specials.  A wide range of desserts are also offered, including fresh homemade cakes, cobblers and bread pudding.

The Station House Grille provides off site catering services for company picnics, church banquets, office parties, etc.  On site catering is also available in their newly remodeled banquet room.  During the month of December, the banquet room is available for reservations Monday through Saturday, day or night hours and will seat up to 100 comfortably.

Hours of operation are Monday—Friday, lunch 11am-2pm, Friday dinner 5pm-9pm and Saturday dinner 4pm-9pm.
