Marshall County Government Contracting Forum
Are you familiar with the unique opportunities available to businesses located in Marshall County? The Alabama A&M University Small Business Development Center & PRIME Project are proud to sponsor the first Marshall County Government Contracting forum. This year’s theme, “Creating Contract Opportunities for Small Business”, guides the content of the forum. The full-day conference will provide Marshall County businesses with a primer on how to do business with the government and Prime Contractors. Special focus will be placed on HUBZone and other small business opportunities in Marshall County, beginning with the impact of BRAC on Northern Alabama and educational opportunities in practical contracting knowhow. The event is a must for all Marshall County businesses looking to tap into contracting opportunities with the government and primes as a new revenue stream.
This event is also sponsored by the Marshall County Economic and Development Counsel and the Marshall County Chambers of Commerce. It will be held at Gunter’s Landing on September 1st from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The cost to attend is $95 per person and sponsorship opportunities are available. New Members and Re-investors
Membership is the most valuable asset to a chamber and we’ve been fortunate enough to have new members invest, as well as, members who have re-invested in our Chamber. These folks see the importance of what the Chamber of Commerce does for them and they recognize that we are here to promote local businesses and help them succeed. Without their commitment to the Chamber, we would be unable to do that. Their membership dues go towards the efforts to recruit business, industry, residents and visitors to our area. By putting back into their Chamber, they are making a commitment to the positive growth of our area. The money they invest in us also allows us to host various community events to provide a better quality of life for our area. Thanks to those that realize how important it is to be involved in the Chamber! When you visit them, let them know how much you appreciate their investment in our community! We are doing together what none of us can do alone! See a full list here of those who have committed to the Boaz Chamber last month!
