Silver Sayings began doing business in August, 2002 and is owned and operated by Susan Spruiell. The business first began as a trophy and awards store named Triple S Trophies. Over time, Susan added engraving, embroidery and screen printing services for her customers. The store changed its name to Silver Sayings in 2006 to reflect its expanding line of products and services. She offers a variety of unique gift items including handbags, wallets, wedding items, baby items and much more. Today, Silver Sayings still is one of the leading retailers of trophies, plaques, corporate awards and engraving on Sand Mountain. Susan engraves jewelry, watches, trays as well as cylindrical items such as pens, glasses and ice buckets. She also offers laser engraving on many items. Corporate awards are always popular items at Silver Sayings including plaques, desk items, acrylic and glass awards. In 2005, Susan expanded her offerings to include embroidery. In 2008, Lisa Smith joined the Silver Sayings team. Lisa has over 12 years experience in the embroidery business and offers expert advice on embroidery, tackle twill and appliqué. Other valuable team members include Molly Caudell with 4 years experience and Jessica Cobb with 3 years experience. In 2006, Silver Sayings began offering screen printing services and markets a complete line of screen printed items including t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and uniforms. Susan maintains a large inventory of items to screen print so that she can provide a quick turn around on uniform and screen print orders. Silver Sayings offers cad-cut and heat press services for letters, logos and rhinestone designs. Also offered are foil printing for party napkins and book covers. Store hours are Monday – Friday from 10 AM - 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM - 3 PM. |
