FAMiLY MEDiCAL Store as it is today is the result of an acquisition by MedSouth, Inc.   MedSouth has been a part of Boaz since the late 1970s.  Emerging from a former gas station on the corner of Corley Ave. and US Hwy 431, now occupied by Jamoka’s Coffee, MedSouth grew along with Boaz and in the mid 80s moved to a new building on Corley Ave.  In 2004, MedSouth acquired FAMiLY MEDiCAL store and retained their name and moved to their present location on US Hwy 431 next to Gaines Florist.

FMS is a retail/ rental company supplying most any medical equipment that my be needed in the home for rehab and convalescing use.  FMS maintains a variety of orthotic braces and supports that are utilized following an athletic or orthotic injury.  They stock a vast supply of mobility products ranging from crutches and canes to power wheelchairs.  FMS supplies home oxygen and respiratory equipment and supplies, as well as, diabetic shoes and monitoring equipment. 

FMS feels honored to be able to state they are the only company of their kind in Marshall County to be accredited by the Joint Commission on Healthcare Accreditation, an honor that signifies the quality and professionalism of their services and staff.
